An intaglio engraved jug with optic moulded body. The engraving of flowers and leaves.Intaglio engraving is a decorative technique which combines cutting and engraving by effectively cutting the engraved image into the glass. It became popular alongside the rock crystal style in Britain towards the end of the 19th Century and remained in production into the 1930s.
